Assembly Required Records was launched in 2021 with the philosophy that "trust" is the main currency of the underground.  Our ethics policy is based on "people before prestige and money."  With that, we can maintain artists' integrity and practice the highest degree of creativity with our love affair of house music.  We do not pull punches when it comes to integrity.  The current re-ignite of ARR is shaped around the vision of expanding the local “house-iverse” to include the essence of that jackin’ sound.  With a lineup growing to include artists from Chicago, Texas, New Zealand, NYC, SF, FL, the UK, and beyond…Assembly Required Records stands to become a trusted “go-to” for the quintessential underground house sound.

“Jack Hustle” (LK Jon Blazt)

The pseudo-anonymous project "Jack Hustle" was started to filter out the need for prestige and any grandiose vision of its co-creator. It was also named after the dog! Jack Hustle is about music and the dancefloor! Previously producing and DJ’ing as LK Jon Blazt, Jack/Jon has a 34-year love affair with our beloved underground and house music sound.  Jon has played alongside Josh Wink, The Hardkiss Brothers, Mark Farina, Terry Mullan, King Britt, Monk, Trevor Lamont, Charles Feelgood, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Scott Henry, & Dmitry of Deee-Lite…to name a few.  His range of house, with slick change-ups and warehouse essence (and sneaky break infusions), has been known to jack a wide range of dance music lovers!  His spirit of a unified front on the dancefloor is the essence of his style and arrangement.

FRANKMATIK, DJ, Artist, Vibe curator, and Founder at SOULArtefacts, is known for his eclectic style of mixing house and different underground genres, his early influences include jazz, new wave, early 80s electro, freestyle, disco, funk, afro latin, and 90s house music coming out of Chicago, NYC, and Detroit.
