Sadly, on May 27th, 2022 the world lost a son, a brother, a family member, and one of the most prolific producers in modern house music history. Gracing such labels as Guesthouse Music, InStereo, Spacedisco, We Jack, Groovy Riddim, and so many more...Brian "Rescue" Hein delivered extraordinary production caliber that was only second to none to his pitch-perfect and technical prowess as a DJ.
The RESCUE STATION is dedicated to heightening awareness of Fentanyl in our way of life and culture AND to help people hiding in shame from the stigma of addiction or relapse from recovery. Last year alone (2023), 70,000 Americans fatally overdosed on Fentanyl. We will have a certified PEER support specialist at the event, with Narcan, and briefing people on how to use it. They are available to talk with anyone (anonymously) who might need help; or may know someone needing help.
Brian was not only a great contributor to our beautiful underground, he helped many people find the road to recovery. His legacy is not just anchored in his musical contributions...but also in his legacy of love and service to others.
